2005 Abrazo Del Toro Tinto

This Spanish blend (80% Garnacha 20% Tempranillo) is super value from Trader Joe's- $3.99! Full-body, soft rounded tannins. Lush ripe fruit with the slightest spicey hint.
While this is not a great sipping wine it improves with decanting. I'd call this a very nice pairing with grilled foods and as a second bottle/party wine.

2004 Epicuro Aglianico

Big rich ripe fruit aromas with a hint of anise. Juicy dark fruit flavors and a trace of spice/anise.
Nice acidity, nice structure, short & crisp finish.
A touch sweet for me, but this is a user friendly wine that would likely be popular especially for the price- $4.99 at Trader Joe's.
