2002 Marchesi di Montecristo Nerello Del Bastardo

So it seems in Piedmont only a certain quantity of wine can be classified Barolo & Barbaresco DOCG. The rest can only be sold as table wine even though the production is practically the same.
This wine came from TJ's based on a recommendation. Only $5.99.
A very easy drinking wine, a nice balance of acidity and dryness.
Went great with Chicken & Apple Sausage and cheese filled Perogi with grilled onions.
